2.5 cups all-purpose flour⁠
3/4 cup warm water⁠
2 1/4 tsp instant yeast⁠
1 tsp sugar ⁠
1.5 tsp salt⁠
1 tsp Garlic powder⁠
2 tsp dried Italian herbs⁠
1 tbsp fresh basil, finely chopped⁠
3 tbsp Simply Natural coconut oil⁠
Toppings of your choice⁠


– Preheat oven to 450°F. Add yeast and sugar and warm water to the bowl of a standing mixer (dough can also be kneaded by hand) and allow to bloom for 5 minutes.⁠
– Add the remaining ingredients: flour, salt, herbs, garlic powder and oil to the yeast mixture and knead for 5 minutes until a smooth dough is formed. Allow to rest for 10 minutes.⁠

– While dough is resting prepare toppings of your choice and pizza pan by greasing with coconut oil and a light dusting of cornmeal. Here we used tomato sauce, mozzarella cheese, banana peppers, sweet peppers, olives, pineapple, red onions, mushrooms and pepperoni.⁠

– After the dough has rested, place onto the prepared pizza pan and using the tips of your fingers spread the dough out into a 12″ circle. Then add your sauce and toppings. Place pizza in preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes or until the crust is golden brown. Remove from the oven and allow to cool for 5 minutes before slicing into 12 pieces.⁠
