Ingredients
3 tbsp brown sugar
1/2 tbsp ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp mixed ground spice (clove, nutmeg, ginger)
A pinch black pepper
1/4 tsp salt
1.5 tbsp Simply Natural Coconut Oil
1 medium fresh pineapple, peeled and sliced
Method:
1. Heat Simply Natural coconut oil in a cast-iron skillet on medium
heat.
2. Meanwhile in a bowl, combine sugar, cinnamon and other spices +
salt. Massage pineapple slices well with spice-sugar rub.
3. Once the oil is hot, add pineapple to pan and fry on each side until
caramelized, golden and slightly charred.
4. Serve warm. Enjoy with a squeeze of lime for a refreshing kick or
with a scoop of ice cream for a sweet treat!
