A delicious, sugar-dusted, hot and fried treat! Get your hands on some mouth-watering churros by following this simply sweet Churro Recipe!


1 cup water

1/4 cup unsalted butter, cut into small cubes

1 Tbsp granulated sugar

1/4 tsp salt

1 cup flour

1 large egg

1/2 tsp vanilla essence

Coconut oil, for frying


For coating

1/2 cup sugar + 3/4 tsp ground cinnamon



-Add water, butter, sugar and salt to a large saucepan, bring to a boil over medium heat.

Add flour, reduce heat to low and cook stirring constantly with a rubber spatula until the mixture comes together and forms a smooth soft dough.

-Transfer dough to a large bowl and allow to cool for 5 mins before adding the egg and vanilla. Then use an electric mixer to combine everything. 

-In a large pot on medium heat add 2 cups of coconut oil and let it come up to temp (350F). Transfer dough into a large piping bag fitted with a large star tip.

-Carefully pipe mixture into preheated oil, into about 4- 6-inch lengths, cut end with clean scissors.

-Then roll each churro in the sugar-cinnamon mixture and immediately serve with melted chocolate or caramel.
