🍿Traditional kettle corn made using Simply Natural Coconut Oil.
Corn kernels seasoned with sea salt, honey and SN coconut oil, tossed with toasted coconut flakes and black sesame seeds!🍿
2 tbsp Simply Natural Coconut Oil
1/4 cup corn kernels
1-2 tbsp honey or agave syrup
A pinch of flaky sea salt, to taste
1/3 cup toasted coconut flakes, unsweetened (optional)
Toasted black sesame seeds, to taste or about 1⁄4 cup (optional)
Heat 1 tbsp of SN Coconut Oil in a heavy pot over medium-high heat.
When the oil begins to shimmer, add 1-2 kernels to test. When they burst open, add your 1⁄4 cups of corn
Cover the pot entirely and shake carefully to coat the kernels with the oil.
Continue to shake the pot, cracking the lid slightly every few seconds in between as the kernels pop. Do
not shake the pot with the lid cracked – this can be a dangerous risk of hot kernels flying out.
In a small bowl, combine the 2nd tbsp of coconut oil, honey and sea salt.
Once all the kernels are popped, remove the pot from the heat. Drizzle your oil-honey-salt mixture all
over the popcorn and toss to coat entirely and evenly.
Optional: Add your toasted coconut flakes and sesame seeds and toss. Serve warm and enjoy!
