Peanut Butter Spread

Homemade Peanut Butter Spread⁠
(sugar free, salt free)⁠

2 1/3 c lightly roasted peanuts⁠
1/2-1 tsp Simply Natural coconut oil⁠
Ground cinnamon, to taste, optional⁠
Ground nutmeg, to taste, optional⁠

Method:⁠

Add peanuts to your food processor. Process until very smooth,⁠
stopping every 30 seconds to allow your processor’s motor to rest.⁠

Be sure to scrape down the sides of the bowl, as necessary.⁠
The mixture will be chunky at first. Then, thicken into a ball before⁠
finally, becoming creamy and smooth.⁠

This process takes about 10 mins in total, including intermittent rest time for your food processor in between.⁠
Process for long as needed to get the mixture really smooth. Store it in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 month.⁠

** Optional: You may add a pinch or two of sugar and/or salt to taste.⁠
