Easy Summertime Wings Recipe

Wings

 

2 lb wings

2 cups buttermilk

1 tsp salt

2 TB minced garlic

¼ cup green seasoning

 

Seasoned Flour

 

1 cup flour

1 cup corn starch

2 tsp onion powder

2 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp black pepper

2 tsp paprika

2 tsp salt

1 tsp baking powder

 

4 cups Simply Natural/ Nariel Coconut oil

 

Buffalo Sauce (optional)

 

⅔ cup Hot sauce

⅓ cup butter

1 tsp garlic powder

 

Directions

 

Combine buttermilk, salt, garlic and green seasoning into a bowl and add wings. Let sit in the fridge for at least 2 hours up to overnight. 

 

Prepare seasoned flour by whisking ingredients. 

 

Drain excess buttermilk and dredge wings in seasoned flour

 

Heat coconut oil in deep pot until 350F

 

Fry wings until golden brown. 

 

Buffalo sauce –  melt butter on low heat, add hot sauce and garlic powder and stir until combined

 

Toss in buffalo sauce, BBQ sauce or enjoy alone!
