Garlic Shrimp Alfredoā
1 package of fettuccineā
1 lb peeled and seasoned shrimpā
1.5 cup whole milkā
1/4 cup cream cheese (optional)ā
2 tbsp butterā
2 tbsp Constance estate garlic infused coconut oilā
2 tbsp flourā
1/4 grated Parmesanā
6 garlic cloves, finely mincedā
1/4 a small onion, finely mincedā
2 pimento peppers, finely mincedā
2 tbsp fresh parsley, finely choppedā
2 tbsp green seasoningā
1 tsp paprikaā
1 tsp garlic powderā
1 tsp lemon juiceā
1.5 tsp red pepper flakesā
Salt and pepper to tasteā ā ā
– Prepare pasta according to package. Then season shrimp with green seasoning, salt, pepper, garlic powder and paprika.ā
– In a frying pan add 1 tsp of garlic oil and cook shrimp on each side for 2 mins. Remove shrimp from pan and set aside.ā
– In another pan heat butter and oil. SautĆ© onion, garlic, red pepper flakes and pimento. Then add flour and cook for 2 mins. Gradually add warmed milk, whisking constantly until a smooth sauce is formed. ā
– To the sauce add parmesan and cream cheese and adjust salt and pepper. ā – Add cooked pasta and shrimp to sauce and toss to coat. Finish it off with fresh parsley.ā
